These lions are found in Gir National Park in Gujarat. are found. This is the only species of lion that is different from African lions. But due to continuous attention of the government, their number has reached 794 in 2020. 

Tigers

70 percent of the world’s tigers live in India. . But even in this, striped tigers are found only in the Bengal state of India. Let us tell you that there are 50 tiger reserves here, in which there are about 3 thousand tigers. However, their existence is in danger due to illegal hunting.

Son Chidiya

Son Chidiya or Grade Indian Bustard is on the verge of extinction. According to information, there are very few gold birds left in the world. Due to their hunting, they have reached the stage of extinction. Apart from 11 states of India, these birds are found in Pakistan. 

Vandaru

The lion tailed macaque found in the rainforests of the Western Ghats. Also known by the name Vandaru. Apart from the lion-like tail of these animals, the furry mouth attracts them. They often like to live on trees. According to the information, today their number is 3 to 4 thousand left. They are most commonly seen in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Kashmiri Hangul 

Kashmiri Hangul is a subspecies of the European red hornbill. These animals are often found in Jammu and Kashmir. Although earlier these were also found in Himachal Pradesh. According to the information, their number in Jammu and Kashmir is only 150. 

Nilgiri Tahr

Nilgiri Tahr is a special species found in the Western Ghats. Is a goat. These animals live at an altitude of about 6500 feet. At one time these were seen everywhere in the ghat. But now they are seen only in the Nilgiri and Anamali hills. Apart from this, they can be seen in Eravikulam National Park of Kerala. Reindeer deer have horns outside, that is why they are called twelve horns. Are. At present they are found in Kanha National Park of Madhya Pradesh. Let us tell you that they became extinct in the 1960s. But after that, due to the efforts made by the government, their population started increasing and there are 800 twelve lions in the park itself. They are also seen in Nepal and Assam.

Dolphin

Found in the river Ganga. The visiting dolphin is mainly seen only in the Ganges River of India. Dolphins are often found in clear water. At one time it was found in large numbers in the Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers. But now their numbers have reduced considerably and work is being done on their conservation. Apart from India, they are also found in Nepal and Bangladesh.
